Wishes

Sometimes I become a cloud

Floating thoughtless, hearing all aloud

Wishing for gold, wishing for love

Aiming to become a joyous dove

Becoming a mountain made me realise

Even the top does not suffice

Wishing for food, wishing for life

Has now become a dream of mine

When the stars are young, the sky won't shine

The moon is out, flowers won't align

Craving for light, craving for sight

Clearly has no more might

The hour comes, I become only mine

But the river has already died

Wishing for all, craving of none

Has made my mind a stun.
